The transformer models with attention mechanisms, such as GPT-3, BERT, Transformer XL, XLNet, ELMO, RoBERTa, and Megatron have been the driving force behind recent advancements in NLP. These models, known as Large Language Models (LLM), have significantly advanced the state-of-the-art in NLP, and have been applied to various NLP tasks such as language understanding, machine translation, sentiment analysis, and text generation.
GPT-3 is a state-of-the-art language model developed by OpenAI.
